Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do we accept credit cards? 
A: Yes we accept credit and debit cards as well as cash

Q: Do we do online ticketing? 
A: Not this year but will in the future

Q: Can we buy tickets in advance? 
A: Not this year but will be able to in the future

Q: Once you buy a ticket can you use it to go through the haunt again?
A:  NO. A new ticket will be required each time you want to enter the attraction.

Q: If I buy a ticket and change my mind can I get a refund or use it another night? 
A: NO. No refunds will be given after you have purchase a ticket and must be used at that moment.

Q: Can I leave the haunted house and re-enter? 
A: NO. Once you have purchase your ticket you may not leave and re-enter unless you purchase another ticket.

Q: Is there a way to avoid standing in line? 
A: Get here early! The first couple of weekends aren't nearly as busy as the last two and Fridays aren't as busy as our Saturday nights because of high school football games. 

Q: Is the haunted house wheelchair accessable? 
A: There are multiple sets of stairs throughout the building. If you choose to come we will do everything possible to help in anyway we can but you may only be able to access a very small portion of our haunt. Please contact us for futher information.

Q: Are there public restrooms available?
A: Outdoor porta-potties are available.

Q:Will the actors touch us, or can we touch the actors? 
A: NO, the actors will not touch you, please be respectful and do not touch them. Incidental unintentional contact may occur.

Q: Are you allowed to touch props or actors? 
A: NO! Let me repeat that NO. You are not allowed to touch actors or props while going through our attraction.

Q: Are cameras allowed in the attraction? 
A: NO. No cameras or use of portable recording devices including cell phone cameras are allowed to be use inside the haunt. If you are caught doing so you will be asked to leave without being refunded.

Q: Are you allowed to bring food or drink into the attraction? 
A: NO. No food or drinks are allowed into the haunt. 

Q: Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
A: No. Alcohol is not allowed in or on the property at Waco Schoolhouse Haunt..

Q: Is there security at the attraction? 
A: YES. We will have off duty officers to take care of any issues that might occur as well as other employees throughout the attraction.

Q: Are there security cameras in use? 
A: Yes. From the time you enter Waco Schoolhouse Haunt cameras will be recording footage throughout the attraction for safety purposes. Some of the footage may be used for training or promotion for Waco Schoolhouse haunt.

Q: Are pets allowed? 

Q: I have a large group of people that want to come, can we all go in at once? 
A: Groups will be divided up into no more than 5-6 people at a time. This allows spacing between customers for a more enjoyable experience. Extra large groups of 20+ people you may want to call in advance and possibley arrange a scheduled time to come to the attraction.

Q: Will there be strobe lights, fog machines, or loud noise makers being used? 
A: Yes, yes and YES. There are strobe lights through much of the attraction as well as fog machines and use of loud noise makers and sound effects. 

Q: Is it going to be dark inside the haunted house? 
A: Yes. The attracion is very dim lit but stairs and emergency exits are lighted for your safety.

Q: Can I be thown out of the haunted house or not allowed entry?
A: YES. We want everyone to have a fun and safe experience while visiting Waco Schoolhouse Haunt so we do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else that must be adhered to for your own safety.

Q: How long does it take to go through the haunted house? 
A: It’s really difficult to give an answer to this question, some groups might run through and others take their time, it depends on how you deal with fear.  Waco Schoolhouse Haunt  is one of the LARGEST INDOOR HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS in Southeast Kansas/Southwest Missouri, it’s pretty big, so you’ll be in there long enough to get plenty scared!
